Basil Deane

Basil Deane (1928-2006) was a tv producer and documentary maker, a lecturer at Nottingham University, chair of music at Manchester University and director of music for the Arts Council of Great Britain. He held posts in Hong Kong and as Professor of Music at Birmingham University.
